Governor Newsom is right about one thing: Democratic voters overwhelmingly oppose the Israeli government and its heinous treatment of Palestinians.
That’s exactly why more empty words criticizing Netanyahu, while refusing to acknowledge the basic fact that Israel is committing genocide and apartheid, is not enough to meet this moment.
Our next president must enforce voter demands and our obligations under the law to end all weapons to Israel and to impose sanctions on Israel.
