Thiel’s Clarium fund was a high-conviction SF-based hedge fund like SA, who had a meteoric rise but suffered massive losses due to poor risk control. but that failure led Thiel to focus more on Founders Fund, and now he's considered one of the best and most influential VC investors of all time. Leopold should pivot to VC. he can make more money with less stress. he can write long form essays again. he can even found a company one day
