They came to Molineux on Easter Monday, 2002. 1st vs 2nd, billed as a title decider. But was men against boys. Completely outplayed. Lots of people say it was a certain other club who broke Wolves that season. Really it was Keegan’s team.

Only a small part of the Kevin Keegan story but I was completely in love with his City team, Ali Benarbia, Eyal Berkovic, Shaun Wright-Phillips etc. You had to be *such* a football optimist and romantic to build a team like that in the Championship, especially 25 years ago. RIP.
