尖閣史のいしゐのぞむ先生が中山義隆石垣市長を表敬訪問した。いしゐ先生が示した土佐下田日記によると尖閣はイヨコンと振り仮名があり、当時から尖閣は琉球の地元呼称で呼ばれ、航海の道標となっていたことが分かる。
