Today
The reality of chasing illegal migrants to document
2.15am out the door after 2.5hrs sleep
3:00am Find 100 illegals near Dunkirk
5:00am they return to camp
5:30am go back to Dunkirk for failed crossing
Spend until 6:30pm looking for boats
Now off to beach to track them some more until 10-11pm
This is the reality, it’s not easy and not for lighthearted
Don’t come thinking it’s a success story
Time on ground is the only thing that matters
