Baby killer back in prison just months after being released.
Jonathan Richardson, the man convicted of murdering his 11-month-old stepdaughter Faith Lee by strangling her to death in 2001 while her mother was at work, was handed a 55-year sentence in 2002. He served a little over 20 years, got quietly released on parole in late 2025, and now, just months after walking free, he’s already back behind bars.
According to Vanderburgh County Jail and Indiana Department of Correction records reported by WFIE and Gray News outlets, Richardson was booked into the local jail on July 15, 2026, for a parole violation and returned to state custody. His earliest possible release date is now listed as August 2041.
