If I’m paying you rent, I can use every aspect of that rented property for every second of every day of the month I’m paying rent for.
That’s the whole “rent” part at work
As a landlord who owns multiple properties, tenants don't understand what we go through. If you stay at home all day you're going to use the floor, switches, toilets, kitchen more which increases the maintenance that needs to be done and the apartment ages twice as quickly.
