imagine building a joke stock exchange and hearing from Nasdaq
in 2016, Redditors were joking about buying memes before they blew up. NASDANQ took it far enough to become a platform, with fake money, trading firms and people chasing beta keys
then the actual Nasdaq came knocking with trademark paperwork, and the project shut down
