The issue isn't that the R2 is inefficient, it is that the battery is not enough to make up for its inefficiency. My 2020 MY LR AWD went farther 6 years ago at 70 MPH. This is NOT what most *rational people were expecting. As always, super lucky to have Kyle and team willing to put in the work to get these tests done, and to Jose for being brave enough to put his brand new R2 through the gauntlet.
