I am using
@CournotProtocol to see the data of the Goal Differential market on for the WC 2026 Final between Spain and Argentina.
Spain:
- Lamine Yamal (19t): Young superstar, magic dribbling, is the biggest threat.
- Rodri: "Boss" in the middle of the field, form Ballon d'Or, excellent match control.
- Mikel Oyarzabal: Pragistic striker, important scorer.
Spain only conceded 1 goal after 7 matches (6 clean sheets), played scientifically, pragmatically, controlled the ball well and was very disciplined.
Argentina:
- Lionel Messi: 8 goals after 7 matches, is still the heart and "witch" of the team. Maybe this is the last time we see Messi shine at the highest level.
- Julián Álvarez: Sharp striker, perfect combination with Messi.
- Mac Allister & Enzo Fernández: Dynamic and creative Midfield.
Argentina plays improvised, inspiring and has the ability to turn the situation around.
The two gameplays have many similarities in technique and intelligence. Spain is controlling and pragmatic, Argentina has magic but Spain can be limited. I predict this match will be a draw, so the goal difference is difficult for Argentina to win by 1/2/3+.
