I plan on reading this one.
In the age of verbose AI responses, getting to the point is more valuable than ever.
It seems like there's a cosmic struggle that most salespeople have with talking too much.
You think the interviewer needs to know your entire life story. You think the customer needs every single feature & benefit spelled out
They don't.
But compression is hard, maybe even the hardest part of effective messaging. It takes a lot of intentionality
The book Brief by Joseph McCormack was a huge help for me in this area. Highly recommend to all salespeople or anyone trying to influence others
