A team at UCLA has engineered a biomimetic hydrogel scaffold that accelerates full-thickness skin wound healing. Combining gelatin nanofibers with EGF-loaded hydrogels, the scaffold mimics the skin's extracellular matrix, promoting tissue regeneration.
