What have Europeans been busy with these years? My son said he plans to go to the UK for graduate school after graduating from Berkeley, but I rejected it outright. I said, the UK, Europe, now, they have nothing left. Apart from their inexplicable arrogance, they have absolutely nothing. Today's Europe is simply a replica of the people in the video below. After nationwide blackouts in Spain, Portugal, and France, trains in motion were forced to stop, and all the passengers, bewildered, aimless, and lost, wandered in the fields, looking around with indifference—a vivid image of soulless shells drifting across the European continent.
This is the state of Europe today.
Europe's decline is beyond imagination. In summer, buses in some European regions dare not turn on air conditioning; in winter, there’s no heating either. Some apartment buildings even inform tenants in advance that there’s no air conditioning.
The reason for this dire situation is that the EU, as a whole, has completely tied its energy security to Russia. Today, because of the war, Europe’s demand for energy is as desperate as Zelenskyy’s craving for American weapons.
How pathetic.
Europe’s dependence is incomprehensible. Europe’s security and defense entirely rely on NATO, with the United States as its absolute pillar. The cunning and schizophrenic nature of Europeans lies in their fear of the Russian bear ravaging their homeland again, yet, after securing America’s protection, they shamelessly do energy business with Putin.
How shameful.
Europe’s backwardness is irreversible. Europe was the cradle of the First and Second Industrial Revolutions, driving the world from an agricultural era to an industrial one. But when Nokia was abandoned by the AI era, Europe comprehensively fell behind in the information age and the AI age. Europe has calmly accepted this lag, as seen in their serene acceptance of watching their Mercedes and BMWs being crushed by Chinese new-energy vehicles. You can sense that, after their ideals shattered and hope vanished, their mindset has completely flattened.
What a pity…
