The Indian Planetary Science Association (IPSA) is organizing a planetary science symposium on “Meteoroids, Meteors and Meteorites: Messengers from Space” (MetMeSS-2023) at the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Ahmedabad, from 1-3 November 2023. The symposium aims to bring prominent scientists within India to present their latest results that advance our understanding of solar system formation and evolution. PRL is known as the cradle of Space Sciences in India and one of the major areas of research focuses on chemical and isotopic investigations of the planetary materials (returned samples, meteorites, and analogues) and geochemistry of the planetary surface.
The symposium was inaugurated by Prof. Anil Bhardwaj, Director, PRL, on 1st November 2023 at K R Ramanathan Auditorium, PRL.
On this occasion, Prof. Anil Bhardwaj, Director, PRL, Prof. D Pallamraju, Dean-PRL and Prof. R D Deshpande, Registrar-PRL, addressed the delegates.
