Had ppl asking if it's true that the @pumpdotfun announcement of "50% Creator Revenue Share" is actually just an extra fee added on to the community
Previously PumpSwap's fee model was:
LP Pool: 0.20%
Platform Fee: 0.05%
Current:
LP Pool: 0.20%
Platform Fee: 0.05%
Creator fee share: 0.05%
It's the community that is making the sacrifice of paying extra fees to support creators. Pump makes the same amount as before... not giving 50% of their dex rev back. Really misleading imho
Why would Pump try to eek out an extra 2.5bps on dex when the bonding curve is what makes almost all the rev? An unforced own goal imo
