We're creating a product for traders, and I've downloaded TikTok for the first time in a few years to get content ideas.
The amount of brain rot in the trading section is unbearable.
It really makes me appreciate how cleaned out X is in terms of content quality.
I scrolled for about 20 minutes, and it's just pure cancer.
If the percentage of traders who lost everything was 90%, it's probably up to 99.5% now.

backtesting data gives you so much mental edge that you probably don’t even realize.
having 200-500 trades in your excel sheet and seeing how even 9 losses in a row can happen - and you still end up very profitable by the end of the year - helps you handle those 9 losses much better than if you didn’t have that data.
people who say backtesting isn’t important because the market doesn’t run on past data either:
1. don’t have an edge themselves
2. are selling you a dream (in a discord or pdf format)
3. both
