If you are using Raspberry Pi Pico W with ESPHome and had issues installing firmware by drag and dropping it to the Pico W drive in Finder, update to Ventura 13.1 which addresses the issue.
The Ventura Problem was fixed in the latest release of macOS Ventura 13.1.
