A manually driven Tesla is 2x less likely to be in a crash. A Tesla on AP is 5x less likely. * ~1% of Americans die in car crashes. Make that number lower. Make it lower for yourself, for your spouse, for your parents and your kids. Make it lower for your neighbors too. Drive a Tesla and use AP. Tesla’s core safety advantage derives from class leading features enabled by Tesla Vision. And Tesla’s autopilot safety advantage derives from the fact that the car doesn’t get tired, sick, drunk, angry, irritated, impatient, or frustrated. It can see in all directions at the same time. And it doesn’t play with its phone while it’s driving. At long last this technology is finally available. Now we just have to get people to use it. * NHTSA reports 1 crash every 1.4M miles on highway and every 720K miles overall, so the hwy rate is 1/2 the overall rate. Manual driven Tesla is 1 per 1.3M overall so hwy is 1/2.6M. Tesla on AP (mostly hwy) is 1/6.8M. Latest available US crash data: NHTSA (2023): 1 crash per 720K miles overall NHTSA (2023): 1 crash per 1.4M miles on hwy Tesla yr ending 25Q1: 1 crash per 1.3M manually driven Tesla yr ending 25Q1: 1 crash per 6.8M AP driven

Cruising to Mendocino is solved. For years this has been our SF weekend escape route and I’ve driven it on every version of AP and FSD, watching it gradually do more and more of the drive. But now it’s done. It’s basically perfect. https://t.co/RUfh10gC35
