Introducing Token-Aligned Affiliates 🎯 Our new Token-Aligned Affiliate Program (TAP) is now live (apply below). Starting Friday Sep 26, Paradex affiliates who refer users earn from a dedicated 1.0% token pool…not from user fees. This program replaces our current program based on fees and referred XP earnings and will run up until the $DIME listing. Why the Current Affiliate Meta is Broken The current model is a race to the bottom. Many CEXs charge 5–10 bps, then hand 60–90% of that to affiliates to buy distribution. Users get overcharged so platforms can overpay middlemen; Affiliate relationships stay purely transactional and are super extractive to users. Our Solution: Affiliates as Aligned Owners We can't share fees we don't collect so we built something better: affiliates as aligned owners through an explicit token allocation. The Result - Zero conflict of interest - Community alignment - Long-term commitment The New Model: Token-Aligned Affiliates (1.0% pool) Paradex affiliates now earn from a dedicated 1.0% token pool (10M tokens), not user fees. This pool is separate from the Season 2 airdrop. During the rest of Season 2, 1M affiliate points are issued every two weeks. Points accrue from your direct referrals’ activity (volume, deposits, OI), the sub-affiliates you recruit, and one-level earnings from affiliates you onboard. Your final token share scales with your chosen lockup. Any discounted tokens not paid to Mercenaries are reallocated pro rata to Maximalists. Note: Sybil activity will be monitored and slashed Example The final distribution of tokens to affiliates will be based on the following formula: Affiliate $DIME Rewards = (Your Points ÷ Total Points) × 10,000,000 × Adjustment Where Adjustment = [Mercenary Discount if Applicable] - Affiliate Program Pool: 1.0% (10M tokens) - Total Affiliate Program Points: 8M points Note: in the example above, 25% of the pool was redistributed to the maxis due to the 50% discount taken by the Mercenaries. Existing affiliates are auto-enrolled as Maximalist; if you want a different tier, submit the Change Form by October 1, 2025. No action required if you wish to remain a Maximalist.
