The issue is that Delaware requires dividends to be declared by the board and paid only from legally available funds. Doing that every day would create a cumbersome governance/legal process. It's still doable with the right structure, but much harder than simply setting a daily distribution mechanism into the security's terms. Would you prefer daily dividends?
