The Democrat outrage was never about names. It was about who gets to write them. That is why Biden did not just “update” nine bases in 2023. He rebranded them. Fort Bragg became Fort Liberty. That was not respect. That was a political rewrite of places where Americans trained, deployed, and died. Now the same Democrats who spent years rebranding bases are shocked that Trump renamed a lake. Democrats only treat names as sacred when they lose the pen. The renaming under Biden speaks for itself. He renamed stuff to suit a woke agenda. Democrats are not defending history. They are defending their control. When they’re in power they try to erase American history.
