Firefighting is always risky, and even more so in the air
June 25, 2023: A Greek Air Force CL-214 crashed in Karystos (Greece) all 2 aboard die. Video footage shows aircraft taking part in firefighting operations when it struck a tree before veering out of control and impacting terrain.
More accidents from June 25 on the thread below, which include Russian operators (as usual), two bizarre French prototypes and Five (5) C-47 accidents, all on the same date, but throughout various years, not unusual given the type´s long career ⬇️🧵 1/5
