Angela Merkel was the person responsible for destroying Germany's energy independence, disconnecting Germany's nuclear power and instead making it reliant on Putin's gas. Merkel was the person who cracked down on online and real life free speech like no other politician before her and set a precedent for other European politicians. Merkel was the person who opened Germany's and Europe's borders and allowed ANYONE who wanted to come without any checks which resulted in countless of terror attacks and tragedies to this day. Merkel's unhinged policies led to the rise of the Nazi party in Germany, the AfD, which is now the most popular party in Germany. And of course Merkel was the person who helped the Putin regime arm itself and launch its invasion of Ukraine which caused the biggest war in Europe since WW2 and which had a direct huge negative impact on Europe and the world at large. Everyone, but the imbeciles who were brainwashed by the German and pro EU media, knew in real time that Angela Merkel was the worst German and European leader post WW2. And yet today today, The former German chancellor received the new "European Order of Merit" in the EU parliament. Nothing symbolizes more how disconnected the people running the EU are from Europe.
