According to @ade_oladipo1 Oscar was never popular at all. Obviously Floyd was just pumping up another easy target.
Floyd Mayweather explains that Oscar De La Hoya was the A-side when they fought. He goes on to say that Oscar chose everything from venue to gloves.
Floyd’s mindset was simple… accept any terms given, and then WIN. So he could call the shots going forward…
