Being opposed to hyper scale AI data centers doesn't make a person "anti-AI." I run my own mini data center. 48 workstations with GPUs. It doesn't require sucking up millions of gallons of water, or emitting noise pollution in a neighborhood. It doesn't stress the power grid, and it doesn't require gas turbine generators running 24/7. Yet I am strongly opposed to hyper scale data centers being built close to neighborhoods. Orbital data centers make far more sense, once launching mass into orbit becomes more cost effective. I'm an AI platform developer and daily coder. I use AI to build powerful platforms and resources that are all free to humanity and help empower people with extremely useful knowledge and tools for living better lives, empowered by more knowledge. The AI industry, sadly, is run by lunatcs who want to become gods and rule the world. We should ALL oppose their agenda! It is an anti-human agenda.
