Sports analyst Brashna Kasi has praised Pakistan’s bowling strategy and the performance of its fast bowlers, highlighting Shaheen's effective bowling changes as a captain. She noted that all wickets in the match fell to pace bowlers, underlining the importance of fast bowling ahead of the next World Cup in South Africa. She also welcomed the growing opportunities for pacers in domestic cricket and the use of pitches that suit their strengths.
