ENGLAND TO ALLOW UNCAPPED TOURIST TAX ON OVERNIGHT STAYS
England’s government plans to give mayors and local strategic authorities the power to introduce an Overnight Visitor Levy on hotels, holiday rentals, B&Bs and other short-term accommodation. The levy would be calculated as a percentage of the accommodation cost, rather than a flat fee.
