His parents posted his final 30th Anniversary opening: last pack, a Jirachi SIR. He lit up, called it last-pack magic, and signed off with “See you next time, trainers.” Akira Egawa, who illustrated the card, wrote that she’s been in tears since she watched it. “I want my art to bring happiness to people,” she said. “I’m so glad I put that wish into this piece.” See you next time, trainers.
