DTCC ran live tokenised stock and treasury trades with JPMorgan, BlackRock and Goldman on 15 July. Nearly 40 firms took part.
The standout moment: JPMorgan tokenised shares of the Invesco QQQ ETF, posted them as collateral to meet a margin call at CME Group, then converted them back. A central counterparty accepted tokenised assets as margin — for the first time.
Pilots settled on Hyperledger Besu and the Canton Network.
