It's an underappreciated triumph of Ethereum client developers that PeerDAS has now been running for nearly a year with basically no problems.
PeerDAS was a complex task: it's the first large-scale instance of a blockchain that achieves consensus on the availability of data without needing any single node to download the entire block. Decentralized consensus without replication.
And yet, it worked.
