Working here made me realise I'd been suppressing my own clock speed for years. Ironic - early in my career I'd called balancing craft and speed one of my designer superpowers. I was always a little jealous of the pure craft designers.
I joined as the first designer and fourth employee. Day one, complete ownership: designing and redesigning the product, making foundational calls, building our now-signature brand - starting as a team of one.
But speed only works with obsessive care underneath it. That's what turns speed into learning, and learning into ambition.
I grew up building websites for local musicians and Counter-Strike leagues. Fitting that Lovable is the product I wish I'd had as a kid, hacking around online.
