How do you count 1.4 billion people? Or is it 1.3 billion? 1.5 billion? For the first time in a decade and a half, India is conducting a census. The population count, delayed by more than five years due to Covid-19 and various bureaucratic obstacles, requires agents to fan out across the vast country.
