Bull markets can be harder to navigate than bear markets for some people with an ADHD brain because 50 coins sending at once leads to cognitive overload
Some people don't want to miss out on the pump the entire market is experiencing so they just shove capital into something they really don't understand well and ultimately end up paying the price through poor timing or sizing
What's worked best for me is choosing my winners before they've made significant runs, parking my capital, and not diverting from my conviction unless my thesis is invalidated
Finding the 1/1 narratives/plays is what works best for me. Which naturally means fewer trades and a slower cadence than a lot of folks who are constantly monitoring flows. It's too easy to get chopped up on beta plays related to the main winner
'Trenchers' get chopped up chasing beta plays related to the main liquidity suck and lose money on microcaps by blindly following multiple wallet pings every day
There are millions of coins - the ones that are fundamentally strong and aren't piggybacking off the success of other projects deserve your analysis the most
Patience is the ultimate skill for onchain trades when you start playing with size, even when prices are climbing as violently as they are now - so many of the coins that just hit ATH or broke out of a nasty downtrend had a recent period where people who lacked conviction got flushed out - this is almost always the case
If you can identify quality, half of the battle is won - the rest is a split between timing, sizing, and exiting cleanly
