Wild animal suffering is just one of several largely theoretical philosophical debates that are going to turn into very real and contested policy questions post-AGI.
Idk why people find this so weird, it’s literally in the book of Isaiah. If critics of EA were familiar with the western canon and religion and the humanities, they would understand that it is good for the natural world to be redeemed and for carnivores to eat grass and straw.
