I don't know, I think there are a lot of arguments against (the dubious political movement called) "AI Safetyism":

- Hanson
- LeCun
- Moravec
- Deutsch
- (even) Aschenbrenner
It's thoughtful, interesting, and — because it's not as useful politically — less well-resourced and neglected. Most of the pro-AI people are just trying to make useful and safe AI that others want to pay for.
