If we want more money for social programs, we need more value being created. Empower builders to build. Make it easier to start businesses, invest, create jobs, and grow the economy. And if someone gets wealthy doing that, let them. If they’re creating jobs and real economic growth, their success is creating opportunity for others and expanding the tax base that funds the services we all rely on. A more prosperous society needs more people building prosperity.
