BREAKING: A source close to Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf claims China has informed the U.S. that it recognizes Iran’s “exercise of sovereignty” over the Strait of Hormuz, reportedly contradicting the White House readout of the Trump–Xi summit regarding Iran’s role in the waterway.
The same source also claims more than 10 Chinese vessels have transited the Strait under Iran’s permit system in the past two days.
