According to a report from Denmark’s public broadcaster, 007 First Light cost around $200 million to develop and took seven years in production.
If accurate, it would be the most expensive project in IO Interactive’s history and one of the larger-budget games developed in recent years.
The report states that development began several years before the game was officially announced as Project 007 in 2020.
Neither IO Interactive nor its parent company has publicly confirmed the reported budget, and it remains unclear whether the figure includes marketing and licensing costs.
According to updated estimates from Alinea Analytics, Marathon has sold nearly 1.5 million copies across all platforms
Back in March, the same firm estimated that the game had sold around 1.2 million copies by March 24.
That means Marathon added roughly 300,000 sales over the following two months.
If those figures are accurate, then the sales pace has slowed substantially.
>Reported sales on March 24: 1.2 million
>Reported sales today: 1.5 million
>Increase: 300,000 copies
That means only about 25% growth over the two-month period
These figures are estimates from Alinea Analytics based on market data so the true total could be higher or lower.
According to Israel Shahak in Jewish History Jewish Religion: The Weight of Three Thousand Years:
In Jewish mysticism non-Jews are considered to be literally limbs of Satan.
The few non-satanic individuals among them (that is those who convert to Judaism) are in reality “Jewish souls” who got lost when Satan violated the Holy Lady (Shekhinah or Matronit one of the female components of the God-head sister and wife of the younger male God according to the Cabbala) in her heavenly abode.
Shahak notes that these facts about the attitude of Jewish mysticism to non-Jews are absent from numerous English-language Jewish histories and that authorities like Gershom Scholem have lent their authority to a system of deceptions in sensitive areas the more popular ones being the most dishonest and misleading.
