Unsure if this means from regular phones or perhaps it means people will be able to use the standalone XChat app without an X account. Whichever it is, users will be able to refresh or rotate their number to a new one by hitting refresh, and we are supposte to keep it more private. I am not sure what happens if people try contacting the old number when you refresh.. ( does it die or get forwarded?) I also seem to get different numbers on web and app when i check.. It is leaving because Delaware gave it reasons to reconsider. The vote is tomorrow. If approved, the company expects to complete the move on August 5. The automatic Delaware default is collapsing one board vote at a time.
