Speaker Mike Johnson says Congress will move fast on legislation to end birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants and birth tourists!!! During a Sunday interview, the Speaker pointed to Justice Clarence Thomas’ dissent and said the 14th Amendment’s original intent was to strengthen and value citizenship — something he argued has been badly devalued by rampant birthright tourism. He called the current system a threat to the rule of law and national security. Johnson made clear they are looking at every option and will advance a legislative fix immediately if one exists.
