CITADEL’S RUBNER SEES BETTER SETUP FOR STOCKS IN OCTOBER Citadel Securities’ Scott Rubner expects equity market conditions to improve in October as quarter-end selling ends and historically favorable midterm-election seasonality begins. He says investor positioning remains low and sentiment negative. Additional support could come from corporate buybacks returning around October 13, easing tax-loss selling and renewed retail inflows. Rubner says October and November typically see some of the strongest corporate demand for stocks.
