The journey of a tokenised asset does not stop at issuance. That was the subject of EBC12’s “The End-to-End Journey of a Tokenised Asset” panel. Stuart Petersen (@wyden_io), Kathleen Wrynn (@InvescoUS), Miguel Vaz (Hauck Aufhäuser Digital Custody), Nico Braun (@dzbank) and Jonathan Leßmann (SWIAT) discussed the infrastructure and coordination needed across trading, asset management, custody, banking and settlement. Tokenization is easy to discuss. Getting internal approval is much harder. That was the focus of EBC12’s “What Makes a Financial Institution Say Yes to Tokenization?” panel. From regulation and governance to infrastructure, risk and the business case, the discussion looked at what institutions need to get right before tokenization can scale.
