MASSIVE ELECTRICAL FIRE ON BANGKOK’S MRT A major electrical fire erupted on the elevated tracks of Bangkok’s MRT Blue Line between Tao Poon and Bang Pho stations, sending sparks and flames onto the tracks and street below. The fire was linked to a 750-volt DC power cable, damaging parts of the power-supply and signalling systems.

From electrical contractors to HVAC engineers, people far from Silicon Valley are quietly asking the same question: Is AI a bubble? Speaking with @TheStalwart and @TracyAlloway on Odd Lots, @jasminewsun explains how local communities weigh the massive economic tradeoffs of multi-year data center projects when they aren't even sure if the technology—or its funding—is here to stay. Cybercab Electrical Architecture: — 48 volt low voltage architecture — 100% of controllers designed by Tesla in house — Cross car wiring eliminated completely. Local controllers connected with ethernet allow parts to run short wires to the local controller rather than across the car to the computer — Custom Tesla microprocessor for power electronics: one chip at half the cost doing the job of four — Fleet data has been used to optimally size the battery pack for the vehicle

Companies making power and electrical equipment to serve data centers are facing growing risks of a pricing squeeze by top artificial intelligence labs, according to analysts at Barclays
