Hardware leaker SneakersSO claims Microsoft may already be reconsidering its recently renewed focus on Xbox exclusives. Posting on NeoGAF, the leaker said the company’s true financial situation only became clear internally “3-4 weeks ago” and suggested the recent push around exclusives was largely intended for convention season. “Exclusive talk was nothing more than a show for convention season. Already there is talk about how to reverse course on it.” While SneakersSO has previously been accurate on some Xbox hardware information, it should be treated as a rumor.
