If you know me you’ll know that the reason I do what I do is that I believe in the pursuit of humane technology This isn’t some boring activist thing like “omg instagram is too addictive we must regulate social media” but more along the lines of e/acc (although yes instagram is addictive and toxic) I believe that in order to pursue a technological future that is beneficial to us, we must build technology that is in line with our neurology In this way we actually extend ourselves, rather than building an entirely new thing and trying to fit ourselves into it This article is my first attempt to try to explain why I think this is important.
