Emperor Luke has released a UASF that freezes miner rewards on his chain to 45 days after maturity (100 blocks).
In practice their chain is not censorship resistant and coins can be frozen by social demand.
Very similar to Ethereum.

Miners can never have monopoly.
You can always bring more hashrate to overpower any monopoly.
