Instinct tried to get me to open a login phishing link lol imagine if it had been proactive... "I went ahead and entered your credentials"
Instinct should be simple. You shouldn’t have to work around someone else’s app or website to get something done. The interface should be built for you, every time. Today we’re rolling out a new hotel experience, built on exactly that idea. Tell Instinct where you’re going and what you care about, and it builds a hotel guide around your taste. Once you pick a room, Instinct books it for you. Every guide is different. If location matters, you’ll get a map of the city with the closest hotels to where you need to be. If cost matters, the cheapest rooms are front and center. If it’s a big family trip, you’ll see places with a big pool and enough space to keep the kids and grandma all happy.

Instinct in group chats Starting today, early access users can add Instinct to group chats. A new Instinct joins and works for the whole group. Making plans with friends usually turns into a frustrating back-and-forth over times and places. With Instinct in the group, you can explore options together, agree on a plan and get it done, all in one thread. Your friends don't even need Instinct to join in. A few things it’s good at: - Planning a weekend trip with friends, including dates and arrival times - Coordinating logistics with a roommate - Getting tickets as soon as they go on sale, then splitting the cost and sending one to everyone - Running a fantasy league, keeping standings, settling rules disputes, and reminding everyone to set their lineups - Sorting out carpool schedules - works out who’s driving each day from everyone’s schedules - Organizing Thanksgiving, keeping track of who’s bringing what and ordering the shopping list Group chats are new territory for Instinct, and we put a lot of care into getting the permissions right. Here’s how it works: - Your personal Instinct asks before connecting with the group’s Instinct. You choose which groups to trust and can remove trust at any time. - The group’s Instinct has no direct access to your personal accounts. Your Instinct checks your permissions before sharing information or taking action. - If someone new joins the group, all pending replies from your Instinct are held until you grant it permission to share with the expanded group. Group chats are available to all of our early access users, and will be rolling out to everyone soon. To join early access for this release, ask your Instinct to put you on the list. Great work with @GajanNagaraj @anuda_w and @saagarwashere

Instinct Selections We’re bringing human taste to the core of our product. We’re partnering with local chefs, designers, architects, travel guides, and more to create curated recommendations in the areas they know best. The next time you're looking for a restaurant, Instinct can pull from a list handpicked by chefs who know the hidden gems in your area. If you want to find a new trail to explore, Instinct can draw on recommendations from local guides and suggest a few routes that fit your preferences. And if you're looking to add some color to your home, Instinct will find pieces from independent designers that match your style, space, and budget. Our goal is to deliver world-class recommendations that are differentiated in quality from what you might find on the internet, and from what other chatbots produce. We’re rolling out access to Instinct Selections to our early access program, and plan to make it generally available soon. This is a project we’ve been working on since the start of the company and one that I’m personally extremely excited for.

Instinct's AI seems much smarter than Muse's, but Muse has lower latency (faster responses). Interesting tradeoff decisions between the two leading personal AI agents.
Instinct has raised a $1 billion Series C, saying 'we're just getting started.' The company is now valued at $10 billion.
instinct and muse are long-running agents. they are core examples of why demand for compute will just keep rising we're in the era of long-running agents for regular people and not just for developers and people in the ai world. we've been addicted to workflows that are super long-running and token-heavy, mostly in coding. regular people are still using chatbots, but that's starting to change (instinct is completely free right now and must be going through A LOT of compute) others have tried to make "personal assistants" before but it seems like instinct and muse are the ones that will stick a typical chatbot reply is 500 tokens whereas a long coding task can be millions of tokens because it plans things, it checks work, and iterates based on previous steps. when regular people actually use agents, there are going to be so many more companies that appear. selling compute would be a good place to be in the next few years. at this point, even consumer companies might start owning their own gpus
