AI is the hottest topic on global earnings calls: Mentions of AI disruptions during H1 2026 earnings calls jumped to a record ~780. This marks a +310% increase from ~190 mentions in H2 2025. In the first half alone, there were more mentions of AI disruptions than in the previous 3 years combined. Meanwhile, a record 337 executives at S&P 500 firms mentioned AI during Q1 2026 earnings calls held between March 15th and June 11th, according to FactSet.
