Legacy OEMs should license FSD. But they won't. They'd rather keep lying to themselves and burning cash than face reality. VW just ended the Bosch circus after years of nothing. Doesn’t matter. They’ll spin up a fresh story with some new supplier to keep the grift running. Until the money finally runs out.

NEW STYLE CHEVROLET CAMARO OEM WHEEL
Analogs- Mizuho: "we see as many as 6 OEMs implementing price hikes into 2H26E as demand for select components remains very tight. We see $NXPI, $TXN, IFX, Molex, $STM and Shanghai Belling all noting price increases with some noting price increases of up 5-30% as AI servers drive increased demand. We believe some analog suppliers are having to absorb some of the cost increases being handed out by wafer suppliers. Additionally, we continue to see suppliers of memory and MLCC raising prices, further straining the supply chain and increasing the cost for end consumers across auto and industrial end markets. We believe memory/storage component and AI DC power price increases will be able to be passed on to customers, with only high-end MCUs and HV MOSFET/IGBTs seeing higher prices passed on." Evercore: Our $ON checks remain positive, and SYNA accelerates ON’s development of edge-AI processors and accelerates its push into edge and physical AI."

Cookie cutter doesn't cut it anymore. Vik Malyala on how @Supermicro became the go-to tier one OEM for startups building unconventional server architectures, from PCIe topologies to ARM-based compute. "Supermicro is the only vendor, sort of tier one OEM, who's able to both have the supply chain deliver anywhere in the world, whether it be US or Asia or Europe or Latam even, but also with a very unique server architecture. It's not just cookie cutter." "When you talk about the PCIe accelerators, these are the ones that are using these accelerators as a part of the system. And I have seen customers looking to have different PCIe topologies, whether it's a single root complex or multi root complex." "Initially we started with both Intel and AMD as a processor architecture to support these accelerators, but now we have added the new ARM based platforms as well. So now people can have an option on the compute platform as well as what accelerators they can support."
