People don’t want to do the work to educated ppl on the realities of the system and the ideas it creates so instead of being bold and challenging the society their “leftism” is about making sure you’re as convenient as possible.

Money is one form of value, but it isn’t the only currency people bring to a relationship. Character, competence, emotional maturity, loyalty, wisdom, peace, responsibility and contribution all matter. The real flex isn’t finding someone you can control. People often confuse having options with having control. In dating, neither side gets every person they want. You can choose whom you approach, pursue, accept, or reject but the other person still has a vote. So perhaps the real game isn’t Who gets to choose? It’s “Who is willing to choose wisely and accept that the other person gets to choose too? Case closed.
